Who We Are
SHS serves students in 6th - 12th Grade through academic opportunity coupled with athletic success, extracurricular opportunity, and career preparation.
Preparing for the Future
Hands-on professional and vocational education is a central theme to a Southwood education. We believe in providing our graduates with experiences that will help guide their future.
The Knights have a strong tradition of athletic success. Personal development through athletics is a foundational element to a Southwood experience.
Learning happens in many ways! Along with traditional classroom instruction, Southwood aims to educate our students through all sorts of hands-on experiences.
Exploring the Arts
Through art, music, and drama opportunities, Southwood students are able to develop skills and enjoy these important educational elements.
Community at the Core
Friendships and memories made together are vital to a fulfilling jr/sr high experience. The tight-knit community of SHS is a great place for students to develop meaningful relationships with their peers.
