Transfer Students

To begin the transfer enrollment process, the guardian should contact the school to schedule an enrollment appointment. They will connect you to the person who oversees student transfers. Walk-in enrollment meetings are discouraged.

The school will request records directly from the student's previous school. This is usually done between the initial contact and the enrollment meeting. Parents do not need to bring anything from the previous school.

The guardian and the student should plan to attend the enrollment meeting. The student's birth certificate should be brought to the meeting.

During the meeting we will go over all needed paperwork and information, including setting up a meal account and connecting with transportation or the school nurse. We will also give you a tour of the school and be sure to answer all your questions.

Being able to meet in person and learn specifics about the student and their history allows not only for appropriate placement in courses but also an opportunity to better understand the student's background and any areas that may prove to be obstacles to success. It is also an opportunity for the principal or guidance counselor to make a connection with both the student and the parent, which can help both to feel more comfortable and confident in their school choice, and have a future point of contact as any needs arise in the future. 

You may pay online with your credit or debit card. You may also pay at your child's school after registration using credit or debit card, cash, or check.

Yes you can. Partial payments can be made either online via Skyward Family Access using a credit or debit card (with no service fee) or you can pay with cash, check, credit, or debit card at your student’s school.
